If "John
Doe" joins your church, do you have a structured and defined
process to disciple him to maturity in Christ? Can you teach him
to "observe all things" Christ commanded? Can you make him a
Christian Actively Reaching Everyone? You can with the
C.A.R.E. Discipleship
Process, which is a system that ties every ministry in the
church to the reality of carrying out the Great Commission.
The
pastor's role is for the "equipping of the saints for the work
of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Ephesians
4:12). When the King James translation was read in the 17th
century, the word "equip" would have been recognized as a
mariner term meaning "to fit out a ship."
This
meaning was refined over the years and during the 19th Century
it came to mean, to dress; to habit; to furnish with arms for
military service. This definition is instructive within the
context of the Apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians. As we
pastors equip the saints for the ministry in the midst of a
spiritual battle, the importance of the call is accentuated.
Do you
have a process to carry out this role? That is exactly what we
will teach you to do through the
C.A.R.E. Discipleship Process. In the seminar, we
teach you to teach others to be Christians Actively Reaching
Everyone. We also show you how to bring those "concepts" to
reality. We are convinced that this process is a wonderful tool
to grow the church by equipping the members for ministry. If we
are going to win this generation for Christ Jesus, it will take
us ALL doing our part.
Take our
challenge to be equipped so that you can equip your church to
make a difference in the world!
Sincerely,
Rick
